THERMOFORMED SOFT GOODS

The process of thermoforming occurs by heating a material, placing it into the mold, then applying pressure to form it into the shape of the mold.

In terms of carriers and cases, the final product follows the contours of the housing and fits the shape as a close representation of the thing in which it holds. Pressure-forming is best used when precise details or an attractive overall appearance in the final product is required, as it offers high detailing at a lower cost than injection molding.
